Called 3 different days. And sent papers through post Tried to cancel contract I did not agree to or ask for. Their phone no always engaged. Dangerous and persistent know who you bank with. Target the elderly. Hope police will stop them.

This number 02037691415 rang me claiming to be about to put papers in post to me about a discount on my home appliances insurance. When questioned they said they were not the insurance company itself, when asked name of insurance company said it was encrypted! I said sorry, not interested and put phone down. They immediately rang back, tried to make me feel rude for putting phone down and started to ask me questions - was I the home owner, was there any power of attorney. I said I was not answering any of their questions and they cut the call off. Not the first time I have had calls about insurance of domestic electrical appliances.

Sophisticated scam, beware!! They cCalled my 90 year old Mother. Mentioned gadget cover (phone, TV etc.) and knew who my mum banked with and the street she lives in. I was suspicious because they were offering a discount on the insurance and wanted to confirm bank details. I told them to request by letter and he put the phone down.

Claimed to be selling insurance. Called themselves gadget protection and spoke about a warranty. They were unable to give any detail and are targeting vulnerable elderly people.
