Scammer. Claimed to be calling from an insurance for domestic appliances. He said I already have cover with them. I do not! He rang off when I mentioned telephone protection service.

Yep, it's a scam. A pushy woman calling herself "Jane" trying to sell solar panels. Needless to say it's completely bogus and everything they tell you is a lie. So avoid them like the plague or you'll get your fingers badly burned.

Polite, well-spoken woman on the phone asking if I was a home owner and saying I was eligible for a solar panel relief ... It sounded like an ovbious scam. The frightening thing is that fraudsters may get away by using female, educated-sounding voices.

Called today, woman's voice claims to be local energy provider but there is no such organisation. Be careful, same voice called yesterday on different number with same opening chat "I believe you are the homeowner, is that right?" Other number is 0333 443 400.

Second time they have called, I answer quickly, few seconds of silence, then they hang up. Autodialler doing 'statistical' calls, reconned they would have an agent available by time I answered; wrong! Time wasting nuisance.

TPS registered but still getting "Hi, this is David from Windows and Doors". It's a recorded message, but sounds convincing like a real caller. Why can't the telephone operators just stop this sort of nuisance call? And 'David' should be ashamed of himself for being part of this scam

Fellow calling local power guide got my tip on burning some steam. Bet it was auto setup.

Constant calls from this David at doors and windows limited, despite me hanging up and not engaging on every single call. I block his numbers, then he calls back from different numbers. He is a menace to society.

Rang today, a fake? caller called David from Windows and Doors Ltd. They have repeatedly called me from a different number but first time they've called me from this number was today.

Spam. 'David' from Windows and Doors Ltd, doesn't stop calling when asked and when told I'm registered with TPS. I've had exactly the same call several times but from a different number: 01182 295 309.
