Rang this morning on our home phone. Woman in a polite English voice said sorry to ring you her name was Jane from Solar Energy and we were eligible. At that point I ended the call.

Synthetic voice pushing an insulation fraud scheme. Its been covered in major papers and led to big losses for those hit by it. Pass on every shady contact to the right law enforcement and regulator channels to curb this stuff. Text the details to five zero zero one three or hit up the ofcom site for reporting spam. Every report helps build the case against these operators and protects others from getting targeted next.

Had a quite convincing British tone this time around for fraud, but said they were a nearby expert and our place showed up in some official list as eligible for upgrades.

I have received calls from this person on a number of occasions and he always says that he is my “local energy advisor”. I ask him every time to tell me my postcode, as if he is my “local energy advisor” then this should be a fairly easy thing to do. Caller can never answer this question and then just goes quiet and eventually hangs up.

Silent. I tried to call back and it said this number is no longer in service. Time to block it. I think they also use 01782910043 as I had similar situation from it as well.
