Anyone needing to check why this number keeps calling their housephone should carefully check the banner post above and all the posts below. Sadly, there is an individual with problems posting fake reports about this usually safe text to speech to housephone translation and relay service number. It will only call your housephone if a text message is sent to it. There are about 6 of these audio text services working in the UK and they provide this relay service for all the phone providers. This number is provided by the AQL Text to Speech service. Check their website. It is informative and explains how all these audio text services work.

Keep getting messages saying ‘we have awarded you £20 ‘ followed by a lot of figures and letters .

Harassment …answered the phone and was instructed to press 1 to listen to message. The message was just a repeat of the original message. Interrupting my home life with pointless messages. Thought it was illegal to cold call.

Anyone checking this number that keeps calling their housephone is advised to read the banner post above and ALL the posts on this feed. The first post on this feed appears to have been posted by this site. Then decide what to do about the calls. The AQL Text to Speech website tells you how to retrieve the message although you only have a couple of days after the message has been sent before it is deleted. The website also tells you how to block calls from this number at source. Unfortunately, the AQL system does not tell you the originating sender number. A major failing with this text to speech to landline translation and relay service number. But the website is the best out of all the audio text services at explaining how it works. This feed also includes comprehensive advice and information about this service.

It's a text service. Someone sent a text to your landline. There are posts on this feed that provide more information as does the banner post above. Why not read them? A very good way to stop that annoying noise your phone makes is to pick it up. You can't be scammed just by listening. Don't do anything else. The bot voice will tell you to press buttons on your phone. Ignore them. Just keep listening. The message will be read out without needing to do anything except listen. It really is THAT SIMPLE. I'm over 80 years old. I have a landline phone. I do get the occasional text message sent to my landline phone and have been getting them for many years. They get translated to audio by one of the Telecom companies and relayed on via their system. To my knowledge there are about 6 companies providing this service to the mobile phone network providers and businesses and this AQL system is the second largest behind the BT operated 08456021111 service.

The green posts on this feed as well as the banner post above provide more information about this free to answer text to speech to landline translation and relay service number. Very briefly, someone sent a text to your housephone. Probably someone you know sending by mistake instead of your mobile or it's an automated message from a business that you know and has your landline number as the contact. When you pick up, ignore all instructions from the bot voice. Just listen. The message will be read out when the bot voice runs out of options. There are about 6 of these audio text translation services to my knowledge and none work on answerphones. Be aware that emojis, Gifs etc will cause the message to fail. The AQL Text to Speech web page is the best out of all these audio text services for explaining how it works. The page even tells you what to do to report scams and how to retrieve your message if you missed it. Messages are only stored for a couple of days before they are deleted

A Really annoying. This number has been phoning me at least 20 times in the last 75 minutes! Let it go to answerphone as I didn’t recognise the number but no message left.

This is one of the fully automated free to answer text to speech to landline translation and relay service numbers. It calls when a text is sent to a non text enabled landline phone. See the banner post above. Most calls will be when someone you know sends a text to your housephone by mistake or it's an automated message from a business or organisation that you know and has your landline number as the contact. This is the second largest of these audio text services behind the BT 08456021111 service number. The AQL Text to Speech web page for this number provides further information about this number including how to retrieve the message and how to block and unblock calls from this number. Be aware that messages are only saved for a few days and texts including Gifs emojis attachments etc can cause the entire message to fail. This service unfortunately will not tell you the originating number and that can be a problem.

This number keeps plastering itself on my laptop screen. I don’t have a clue what they want of why. I don’t not want it or need it . It’s just a nuisance that I can’t be bothered with and should not be there without permission I’m not getting calls but I just don’t want it
