Claimed to be calling from EDF, but not one of their numbers. When I told her I would only speak to her if you called from a known EDF no. she said ok, she would speak to her supervisor. Funnily enough, no follow up call came!

Persistant calling, do not like being told No, will argue with you. Claim to be from British Gas.

Even after telling them that their call was a scam they still tried - hung up they rang back - 21 times in total. They said they were from our energy company E-on.....

Indian lady claiming to be British Gas. We have 2 factor verification enabled where if British Gas call, they give us a pin code to ensure its a legit call. They couldn't tell me the pin and hung up. These same people keep ringing from different numbers. We have over 20 numbers recorded and have reported to the police scam department.

Was a lady calling from EDF energy asking for me to confirm my MPAN number and postcode. I said EDF don't supply our business property. She said yes they do - I asked her to tell me our company name and supply address which is on the bill, and she hung up. Definite scam.

Utility scam, said he was calling from British gas. When I refused to speak to him he said a name of company in our building. I still refused to speak to him and then he put the phone down! Total scam!

Claimed to be from an energy company. Persistently asked for someone who doesn't work here. Kept asking when our contract ends. Rang twice in succession. Does not like being told no, very difficult to get rid off.

Asked for Accounts, claim to be from our Energy Supplier British Gas (we're not with BG) - this number blocked, but they keep trying on different numbers that appear they're from all over England - definately fake
