Received a call at 1030am today. It was a recorded message that responded to my answers, very convincing. Scam!

Caller disconnected as soon as the voicemail system picked up. This behaviour is common with automated dialling systems linked to scam calls, especially those pretending to discuss energy services.

I did not answer this call and there was no voicemail left afterwards. The number looked suspicious and appears similar to other reports connected with energy related scam calls so I decided to block it.

Verminous lowlife scum harassing their way through the week. As previous messages have reported, they call and ask if I am the homeowner and then waffle on about government grants and insulation - they were so busy reading their script they wouldn’t listen to a single word I said and I just told them I have blocked their number and reported them and put the phone down. It’s people like this that make me think what’s the point of having a home phone these days as the only cause that come through are rubbish despite being on the so-called telecom preference scheme or whatever it’s called

Phoned to sell loft insulation. Became abusive when I said I wasn't interested

Called from this number. I answered “Bon jour” but just got silence. I see from other reports that it is the usual loft insulation routine where they try to get you to say “yes”; probably so AI can use that response to create a verbal contract. Never use the word “yes”. Use “I am” or “ that is so” or similar. It really confuses their prerecorded AI bot. Alternatively just hang up and block number.

01437468241 Caller called from this number asking about loft insulation and wanted to book an appointment said that her manager will be ringing in about 30min to arrange .when I asked who they were she start going on about government legislation for loft insulation.

Repeated calls trying to sell insulation. Have asked them to not call again and remove my number or be reported to the ICO. They just laugh and carry on reading their script. Reported to ICO.
