Phoned while there was no-one at home so phone went to answerphone. Absolutely no message left but about a minutes-worth of silence before the "non-message" ended!

Rang 5 minutes ago - nobody spoke but it was a good half minute before the number rang off.

Insulation fraud alert buzzed the home line which had been quiet forever gave me a start but turned the tables quick when she slipped on the details and i shut it down laughin inside at the mess up.

Phishing. A recorded voice that's meant to sound as though it's having a conversation with you, but is actually just responding to keywords if you speak. It asks you leading yes/no questions like "Do you want to save 90% on your energy bill" etc until eventually getting to its real purpose which is to obtain your personal information. Obvious identity theft operation. Reported to police.

Said they were energy advisors. After not being able to understand what she was saying I kept asking to repeat, then realised it was some kind of AI as it sounded distorted in exactly the same way. Put phone down, they never called back so guessing would be selling something. Won’t entertain next time.
