Keep getting text messages asking to phone ACI 01253 532 142 stating ref number etc No idea how they have my number. Looked the number up and saw all the comments re:scam on here. DANGEROUS SCAMMERS

Had a text from this number using my name, asked me to ring them with a reference number

As others state got a text using first name stating an email was sent regarding personal matter with a ref number No email recieved and have no debt anyway. After looking further seems ACI is a debt agency however their number does not match the number in the text. Seems some scammers trying to use a legitimate business name to fool people. Just wish I knew how they got my name and number as I never give it out for this exact reason

I received a random text message asking me to verify my personal details. After reading this thread, I blocked the number.

Could be dangerous , I've only had 1 random text message saying ACI - an email has been sent regarding a personal matter etc and to ring them , no email received and I won't be ringing them back

Had a text asking to call a number with a ref no. Then a letter saying I owe money to citinational, never had anything from Citinational

Had a text saying I've got an email from them about a personal matter. Scam!!!

They claim I owe £1,000 for an unpaid loan from HSBC. Never had an HSBC account. My credit reference account shows no searches of my details from a debt collection agency. Scam written all over this.

Keep ringing and messaging saying I owe money for a hsbc card when I don’t have one
