They called me, didnt tell me what it was for and wanted me to confirm my details despite me neither expecting or wanting the call. I said I wont be giving out my DPA because they called me, she said I needed to do so to get into the account. I refused again and she said I could call them. I said I would do that (I won't) and said goodbye. She was polite but too insistent.

Claimed to be someone from Three offering account only deals (my contract is coming to an end soon). Asked me to confirm some details (address, DOB) & then said they didn't match the account details (they do, of course!). Fool me for obliging & giving them the information. I have since contacted Three who have confirmed no one from Three has tried calling me.

I am due an upgrade on my Three phone (got a text to confirm this), I keep getting a call on this number. Haven't answered so no idea if it's legit, but it sounds from previous entries it could be, I'd rather go to the shop than speak to a call centre anyway... much less pushy.

Real Three call. Was able to extend contract over this number. Agents from India Three hires may sound suspicious and was not picking up repeated calls because I read comments. But the I picked up, they proved they were Three, got official Three emails and sms, they did not ask for bank details or anything and extended my contract. See it on the app.

I dont know why there are so many warnings about this being a scam. I was hesitant and never answered because of this until I received sms from official Three the same time they called me from this number. They called everyday until I picked up and extended my contract successfully through this phone number. It is Three agents which Three hire from India. So accent adds to a suspission. I questioned them to prove they are Three before proceeding, which they did in different ways. All was good for me and I can see a new plan and everything on my Three app. Did not ask for any banking details as they already have it.
