Just received my 13th call from this number! Very persistent, find these call quite frightening,as they are so persistent.! Although I am registered on the telephone preference service, these calls still come. I am seriously thinking of having my landline removed because of these calls!!!

James - "I am the energy adviser for your post code area" just the same as others who have commented. I said "I don't want any energy advice" whereupon he continued with his spiel. I said nothing more and after a couple of minutes he dried up.

Potentially dangerous, depending on what you say to the bot. I've had Richard, Jane and now James calling. Easiest way to get it to hang up is to talk over it saying "I am not a homeowner", it disconnects the call.

0856 this morning Jo was on the phone again - this time from 01226818730. Previously used to call herself Gabby - distinctive accent possibly Australian - and has been ringing me from a wide variety of numbers at least monthly since September 2023!! She has been told very firmly on numerous occasions not to ring my number again!!

James - "I am the energy adviser for your post code area" - I asked repeatedly what my post code area was, eventually James or The Bot said "No worries" and cut the call off. Not convinced it was a human calling. Second time today they called.

Energy adviser - I get at least one of these a week. Step one should be Check the useless telephone preference service and thus not waste everyone’s time.

The caller wanted to know my age , told him no, and for all I knew he could be a scammer , with that I cleared the call .
