They new my name, but then asked if I am the home owner. Odd because they could look me up on the land registry and see I own the property. I can only think that they call so many that it is not efficient to look them up and just ask first then they can ring off if they are told no. The two times they called me they asked about foam insulation. If I had foam insulation some years ago and this is probably a prelude to offering to get compensation of some sort. The offer of compensation will almost certainly be a prelude to asking for bank account details to have the compensation paid into. My advice is to waste as much of their time as you can afford, but DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY ACCOUNT DETAILS!

A call from 01182295286 said he was from building services regulations. He said you had spray foam insulation have you still got it. I said never had it. He then put down receiver. Had my name!!

They rang, I didn't answer because nobody but cold sales reps and scammers ring the landline!
