Well, whoever rang didn't even bother to start trying to scam us so I hung up. As 99% of calls we get on the landline are scammers, I can only assume based on previous comment it is another one.

They rang up saying there was a problem with the computer setup. Explained there wasnt even one around. This left the elderly person quite distressed and worried for no good reason at all. Calls like these prey on vulnerability and its just wrong how they target people who might not catch on quick. We need to spread awareness about these tech support tricks that lead nowhere but trouble.
