Claimed to be from Sky, knew my basic details but the asked for password. I said ‘no as they called me’. He said it was for data protection, but I refused and then he hung up. I phone Sky from my Sky app they told me it sounded like a scam. I did end up upgrading but on my terms by calling them myself on their correct number

I call back to sky to find out if it was them they phoned and it is legit.They are changing into optic broadband as it is becoming mandatory and offer the upgrade without charging or changing contract.If not sure call them back on their web number but don’t flag as dangerous number without checking with the company first.That’s why they have your details

This number has called me twice. It's headed "Suspected Spam" and so I didn't pick up the phone.

said they were from sky , wanting to upgrade me to full fibre, they knew everything about my sky account , how long I'd been a customer dates I took out sky packages and what they were. Don't know how but they had all the details, they were very convincing but I told them no thank you

Called today - asked for my password to get into my account - also asked for my mother's maiden name.

This number called me and said he is from the EE offering discount. He asked me to tell him how much was my last bill. He hang up when I said I was not with the EE. He said his name was William.

Called numerous times over several days, my phone said suspected spam. I eventually answered, and they claimed to be from sky asking me about full fibre broadband. They asked several details about me account and I claimed not to know so they hung up. I have since blocked the number.

They work for a fibre company and try to make you believe there from sky to upgrade you to faster for free , really your upgrading to a new broadband company who wants you to switch for commission.

Called a number of times but previously ignored, I answered yesterday, seemed legit at the start until they asked for my SKY password - told them I won't be relaying that and they moved onto wanting to know cost of last bill. I decided to hang up instead - SCAM and BLOCKED

Keep calling but due to being at work all weekend I didn’t pick up have since looked up number and found out it’s a number to avoid as a scam!!!

Said was from Sky. Seemed legit. Only realised after didn’t receive email confirmation of T&C’s for upgraded broadband.
