scamming a genuine BT text to landline set up number, hung up when answerphone cut in. I do not use BT for my service!!

Rang at 9.35 pm on Saturday night - I missed the call - checked here to see who would possibly call at such a time.

Called twice today, said to be from BT and I don't use BT, wanted me to press 1 (to listen) or 2 (for help). I didn't press anything as thought it is a scam.

Calling multiple times a day, even 10pm in the evening, never leaves a message, block doesn't work because it is a spoofed number. Phone companies and governments need to get a grip and put an end to spoofing.

Message left on machine. Man's voice saying SMS ..... lots of numbers! and press 1 (or 2 for help). I felt uncomfortable and hung up! There was a pic on phone: Nuisance ?

Automated voice call saying it’s a BT message. Then goes on to say please pay some money into your Halifax account today. Very strange.

Call from apparently a BT message service apparently.... and advising about an order with Halfords, I've not placed an order with Halfords - the man sounded very scam like to me and gave some url I needed to go onto to check order/tracking details. Needless to say I didn't check. Would say its probably a dangerous call as they are trying to scam you.

rang early this morning and when answered a digital artificial voice asked to press 1 to reply or 2 for anything else. Message said something about sms-text service and pretending to be from vodafone. Total silence. Ignore it. It is a scam. checked with vodafone and they didn't call.

Three or four calls every day. Calls blocked on our phone and they are diverted to answer machine but no message ever left.

Rang twice. No one there both times when picked up. Return call leads to a BT automated voice message about voice-text conversion permissions. Do I expect anyone to cold-call me to do me a favour? No. Marked as Harassing.

This number has rung me several times claimint to be a number of different companies including BT and supposidly my local energy company, all of which is untrue, it is a scam so now blocked.

Continued phoning, I suspect a scam, Vodafone wouldn't calling back 20 times in on day, they have my email address! When I did speak they tried to obtain personal information like the same operator asking for the 1st and last number of my security code, then the 3rd and last when asked for the second it was obviously a scam and since then I have received calls so frequently that I have unplugged the phone!

Rings but when answered there appears to be no one there. Some comments have said BT/Vodaphone however I’ve never been a customer of either company so is giving scammy vibes to me. Also annoying as they are ringing at least once a day over the last few weeks.
