The caller called himself "Kevin" and pretended to be from "the housing repair team" but wouldn't name which one. I pressed him on which company or organisation he was calling from and he wouldn't answer. Be careful out there!

Call went to voice mail but for some reason "Danny" seems to think he's talking to somebody... Haven't reported any housing repair issues.

Digits look like the property folks so i took it, said hi twice met with nothing so i quit restricted and flagged it.

An irritable sounding man telling me they were from the housing repair team of my housing association reaching out about 'the damage to your property'. Asked him what was the name of the housing association and he hung up.

Reached out about supposed fixes for the residence. My setup does not match that description so no reason for contact. Pretended it was a mix up but the performance fell flat.

Greeted several times into the receiver before any reply came through. Once the caller started talking, it was obvious from the opening line that the whole thing was bogus. Nothing like a proper greeting or recognition of who I am, just straight into the pitch that didnt add up at all. Hung up fast.

FRAUD OUT THERE! Do not grab surprise lines from unknowns. Pass along each con effort to the proper cop and ofcom setups. Text phone bits to five zero zero one three or online form at ofcom.org.uk spam. It all helps nail these pests before more get stung.
