Have just received a text from a mobile number claiming to be Barclays with a one time verification for£456.89 for payment to Next saying to call 0330 133 4932 if this wasn't me. Believe it to be a scam.

Text saying from Barclays saying authorisation number if it wasn’t you call. It’s a scam.

This is a scam. I had the same message saying "Barclyas: Confirm your payment by text for 456.89 to NEXT by entering 600895. If this was not you call 0300 133 4932" Note the incorrect spelling of Barclays . It was sent from 07845 768603. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE TEXT OR CALL 0300 133 4932

Had a similar message at 15.31, payment to Next, £456.89. I did nor reply to them.

SMS saying "Barclays: Your order of 653.99 to DON JULIO has been completed. If this was not you call 0330 133 4932". I withheld my number and called - got an American answer phone message saying "The person that you called is not available. Please leave a message." The SMS and voice message is hardly what you'd get if you phoned Barclays. Scammers. Avoid!
