Had a call from this number on my lunch break today. Woman on the phone started this scripted speech saying I’d won £100 in an online competition I’d entered at a specific date and time and that I need to confirm I was over 18 and to confirm some personal details for them before contacting. I couldn’t hear her fully as there was a lot of background noise so I asked her to clarify which company she was from and how I entered. She then started the whole scripted speech again and then said all calls are recorded and asked me to confirm I was over 18 to continue. I ended the call and then saw the comments on this site so blocked the number. Do not answer and block the number as clearly a scam to get your personal details.

Caller said I had won a voucher for a supermarket even though I had never entered any competition. Clearly a scam trying to lure people into sharing information.

Caller insisted I had entered a competition to win a voucher which I had not done. When challenged the caller kept insisting so the call was ended and the number blocked.
