Caller pretending to be from "Claim Smart"- company info checks out, but the FCA has not appointed anyone to handle these claims as of 12/1/26. They wanted my signature on an email (to be done as I was on the phone) as the "last step" in completing my existing car finance claim.

I received a call from this number just now, out of the blue, but when I answered, there was no reply for at least 10 seconds of me saying 'Hello? Hello?'. It gave me the impression of being an automatic call from a call centre, since I've had similar calls out of the blue before. As an unknown number, I've just looked it up now, & seen that it's marked as a dangerous call, & blocked it. Since my own experience was as an unknown caller calling out of the blue, I'd describe my experience as harassment therefore.
