Claimed to be from Vodafone and need to update SIM because the technology in the SIM would stop working. Technology IN my SIM card?? How ridiculous I asked a few questions, knowing it wasn’t actually Vodafone, and asked why it would take so long to send it. She stopped my fun and games far too early for my liking and we only got to argue for about 30 seconds Scam. Stay away.

Claimed to be Vodafone and sim card would stop working, but new sim in post. They wanted me to confirm I'd and accept a code. I asked why, if a card is in the post. She kept saying needed to upgrade system but could not explain why I could not wait for sim card. I said I would call when sim turned up. Managed to delay her for 7 mins till she gave up on me, so hopefully I wasted some of her day

Caller said he was from Vodafone. He had all my details including address, email, sort code, how much I was paying by direct debit for my phone, what phone I had currently and the model of my previous phone. He sent me a code by email and asked me to confirm the code. This was a genuine ‘reset password’ code from Vodafone which I didn’t realise straight away - he said he was sending a code be email that would show as ‘no reply Vodafone’ and it appeared immediately.The call related to replacing a sim code. I said I needed to check out the call and hung up. I called 191 and it was confirmed this number was spam. The caller had changed my password. I reset my password and changed my PIN number. For future reference Vodafone never phone their customers.

Number claimed they were updating my SIM card. Became very pressuring. I ended the call. They called back and questioned my actions to end the call. Persistence and pushing for my details. Rude considering they were meant to be a call centre. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCAM

Claimed from Vodafone, 3 calls different people, I was very abusive to them, Dirty horrible thieving people,

Pretending to be Vodafone, offering 5G SIM and 40% off my bill. They even sent official Vodafone emails and texts as though it really was from Vodafone! They asked me for the first 5 digits of my account number (as they had the remaining 3) and they tried to confirm other personal account details. Part way through I explained I was feeling concerned that it was spam, they stayed calm at first and then they got defensive when I proceeded to say I’d rather hang up and call Vodafone back to see if this is legit. They offered me a mobile number that would allow me to call the call his ‘department’ straight back (this is believe was just his mobile number). They are bad news and very deceitful, don’t be fooled. I spoke to Vodafone once I hung up and they checked the phone number with them, they said it was spam and sent this link for future checks as to whether a caller is Vodafone or not. https://www.vodafone.co.uk/help-and-information/is-vodafone-calling

Claimed to be from Vodafone. I ended the call straight away and blocked the number. Scam call.

says from 02 due to customer complaints they are sending a new sim and 40% discount, I ended call as sounds like a scam.

Called claiming to be from Vodaphone, said I wasn't comfortable sharing details they asked for, kept pushing, eventually managed to talk them off the phone, seems like a scam

Scam call claiming to be from Vodafone after I hung up they kept ringing and ringing I eventually had to block the number
