The voice on the other end introduced themselves as your friendly local energy advisor from the official department and launched straight into a monologue about the wonders of proper loft insulation how it traps heat keeps the house warmer in winter cooler in summer and pays for itself in a year or so with energy savings they even threw in tips on choosing the right material but when i asked for their company details or a reference number things got evasive turned out to be another cold call operation preying on homeowners looking to save a buck wish there was a better way to filter these out before they waste your time.
