Having now found out this call was dangerous I'm glad I didn't answer! I don't answer unrecognised calls, and as has been already said, there is the option to leave a message, but this wasn't done. and that signifies to me that it was a scam caller.

Fellow sounded all courteous claiming ties to the nearby utility folks and pitched a drop in the coverage cost for plumbing then wanted to tweak the auto pay setup but turns out i aint even with em so obvious con job trying to snag banking details under the radar.

The call came up as suspected spam so I didn't answer. Have blocked it now to be safe. In any case, my motto is "if it's important and they need to speak to me, then leave a message" . It's really that easy!
