Caller claimed to be from Virgin/O2 and had all my details including address, direct debit account, mobile bill amount and due date. Explained SIM needed to be upgraded as Virgin and O2 are merging - emailed me a new VMo2 identity so all looked genuine. She then asked for my credit card number to pay DPD £1 for the delivery of the SIM card. When I refused I was sent an email from ‘o2k’ asking for it. Im glad to say I ended the conversation there. When I looked at my emails I had a contract for an expensive phone and data agreement (£50+ a month). Don’t understand what’s happened or how she would have benefited! Won’t be agreeing to contract obvs!

Spam call, do not answer under any circumstances. Definitely dodgy.

Total scam. None of the mobile network detail was accurate. Avoid and block.

Phoned then hung up multiple times. Spammy, so I blocked it.

Indian call centre claiming to be EE. Threatened disconnection over a “sign up” issue. Definitely a scam.

Heavy call centre noise, strong Indian accent. Pretended to be from Three saying my SIM was outdated. Dodgy.

Didn’t answer, called back on withheld and automated “welcome to energy department” message, which is a huge, common scam going around. Will call off so many different numbers. Don’t answer! As soon as you answer they recognise your number is live and will sell your number on to another scamming firms.

Scam scam scam. 'Adam' called claims to be from Virgin media and started asking if I was happy with my household bills - hung up as soon as I started to ask any questions
