An Asian sounding lady (sounding like she was calling from a Call Centre) told me she was calling from Vodaphone and would give a discount on my bills. I asked her what I was currently paying each month and how much discount I would receive? She asked me how much I was paying and when I insisted that she ought to know and she was to tell me (bear in mind she did not attempt to identify me, presumably because she did not know the account holder's name) she hung up the phone. I have blocked the number and would advise others to do likewise.
