A call on our landline. A somewhat rude person with what sounded like an American accent, said he was from Sky maintenance. When asked what he was calling for, he just hung up! We don't have and never had Sky, so clearly another lowlife scammer trying his luck in scamming innocent people. Why dont they actually get a proper honest job? How do they sleep at night?

No answer so called back on another phone. Energy something or other, asking you to press 1 to speak to advisors. DON'T. And I blocked it

Same as another report....don't answer and the call hangs up. B×××× nuisance though. Too many of this type of phishing calls.

Number wasn’t in my contacts, i didn’t speak and after a few seconds the caller disconnected. I have been doing this for a few weeks with unknown numbers and it works well, these calls wait for a voice, then connect you to a call centre person or recorded message. A genuine person ringing would speak if you didn’t.
