Harassing call from a call center trying to confirm spelling of my name

Kept say he was from Three…. Wanted to email me a code. I said if you are my supplier you don’t need me to give you those details, sounds like a scam to me. He was very persistent but so am I and I am not giving my details to anyone! Asked him if he was in the uk and he just dropped!

This is a scam.
Purport to be from your mobile phone company and give you a loyalty discount due to being a longstanding customer and always paid bills on time.
You get passed from an initial representative to a manager who will arrange for the discount to be allocated.
In reality they try to persuade you to obtain a code from your mobile phone supplier to enable them to hack into your account.
Beware of long delays as they attempt to do so while you are on the phone.
The phone number is supposed to emanate from Coventry.
