Rang yesterday. Young, educated sounding Southern English voice. He stating my property was on a government register of properties with potentially unsafe insulation. I gave my surname, which I'm disappointed with. He said his manager would arrange an free inspection and would ring in 1/2 hour , which is too short not to be potentially harassing, so I become more suspicious.
I later couldn't find any reference to a government register. I should have written down his company name to investigate. If the company is genuine, they are probably trying to cash-in with the scandal relating to insulation added for free in the 2010's.

Got a ring from this line a womans voice assuming i ran the household started in on insulation topics so i cut the connection before it went anywhere.

Roof insulation, delayed start of conversation, suspect scam. Said that my property showed up as needing insulation, I said I wasn't interested as my loft is well insulated. Beware of this number.
