2 March 2026. Stated that O2 sim cards being withdrawn and replaced to improve service. Wanted E-mail address before " reading back my contact info with 02" and delivering replacement sim card tomorrow. Young Asian female voice. Hung up when I demurred. Dashed rude I thought.

Line hit early prior day. Machine cut it off. Bet on fraud or junk. Locked now.

Claims to be offering upgrade to fibre broadband and phones for BT openreach. Asks for a mobile number, which is refused and then wants an email address (we give out a false one) and then he claims an appointment can only be booked with a mobile. After repeatedly saying there is no mobile, he says BT cannot make an appointment without one. They keep phoning, but don't get the message.
