Also, had a call 30mins ago from this number (illegally calling my TPS-registered) to my ex-directory landline number. I didn't answer it, as I did not recognise the number and now seem to be getting a call every day from many-different scam numbers even though I rarely provide my landline number to anyone. So it seems they are automated-dialling random numbers, not checking if they are TPS-registered, and therefore a scam company.

Caller opened with "can you hear me" which appeared to be an attempt to capture voice responses for fraudulent purposes.

Autodialler with prompted messages, calling into a Public sector worker's desk number, goes on to ask if they are the homeowner for a solar survey.

As others have mentioned, this sounded like an AI voice bot attempting to collect voice responses. The opening question was designed to make people say yes. Very concerning and deceptive behaviour.

TOTALLY DISTURBING AI STYLE CALL. After checking reports online it appears the system may be trying to record and clone people's voices. Very unsettling and should be avoided completely.
