Answered the phone, some noise in background and a slight delay on responding.
The woman on the phone sounded young and not overly confident, but asked to speak to Mr "X" - I asked her to specify and she confirmed my dad's name - I advised he was not in and asked what it was regarding, at which point the call was abruptly disconnected.
I suspect it was a scam or other nuisance marketing.

Said they were from an energy group. We get so many of these calls , knowing it would be a scam I put the phone down

Just stop calling we ignore these calls and then look who did call then block and delete
