The caller identified herself as Sophie from British Gas, asking how our visit that day had gone. By coincidence, I had been expecting a visit from a British Gas plumber on the same day so I said that he had not arrived yet (this is at 8:01 in the morning). She asked what I meant and I repeated what I had just said. Without another word or apology for disturbing me, she disconnected the call.
