Hung up the moment my answering machine started to screen unknown calls. No message left. Strongly suspect scam.

Very bad line. Delay in responding after my pick up. Asian woman asking to speak to “the lady of the house”. Hung up.

Obviously outbound call centre due to delay between answering call and them speaking. They said something incoherent and the line went dead.

Asian lady said from British Gas asking about my boiler. But we don't have gas at my address at all. Obvious scam.

A lady with Asian accent said she was from D&G and needed my bank details to send paperwork about my current cover. I refused and she got pushy.

Asian sounding woman claimed to be from the NHS offering a free medical device or panic alarm. I said I don't need it and she kept pushing the issue.

Just another call as part of a wave of nuisance calls. Hoping they eventually remove my number from their lists.

Indian woman asking for bank details. Said she was from British Gas.
I don’t have a boiler or gas!!!
She slammed the phone down when I told her to stop trying to scam people.
Avoid and block the number.

A woman with an Indian accent asked if I was the homeowner and then mentioned something about boiler maintenance. The explanation was unclear and felt suspicious. It did not seem like a legitimate company call at all.

The caller asked for my bank sort code to confirm my identity. When I refused, they became pushy and kept insisting. I ended the call and blocked the number.

All I could hear was background call centre noise but no one actually spoke to me. Very suspicious and unsettling.
