Phone rang, but nobody spoke so hung up.

I was phoned by a lady purporting to be from the NHS offering me a home alarm service.
I became wary as the questions became more and more detailed. I also was aware that typically your local council provides home alarms. I hung up when she asked for bank details. These people are guilty of fraud.

Lady phoned stating that I had home appliance insurance and did I remember taking it out as it was about to expire. Told her not interested. Hung up and blocked number.

Rang me to say my domestic and general insurance would be reduced and asked me for name, age, date of birth and then to confirm banking details. Got annoyed when I wouldn’t do it and said I’d call D&G direct, so I hung up.

Phone rang and I just picked up but didn't say anything. He rang again demanding that I speak up. I put phone down. He rang again so I blocked him.

The caller was adamant that we had signed up for kitchen appliance cover, which was true a few years ago, but we stopped paying then at least 18 months ago but he persisted on saying that it wasn't insurance, when I hung up he called back and when I told him that time I was hanging up and told him not to call again he called back and I let it go to answerphone.
