Called by these people today and it was just silent. However they've called before from this NBR. Told me he was my local energy advisor, I said 'no you're not, those jobs are nonexistent'. They try to talk over you about not having the correct loft insulation etc etc. Just speak louder than they do! They soon cut the call off.

A woman called speaking English. She mentioned my house qualified for a no cost estimate on solar panels. I told her no interest and blocked the line.

silent call on answer phone from unknown number means not legitimate

Phone rang, I knew as soon as I saw the number it would be a scam. I said ‘hello’, twice, nobody there, no sound. I said ‘scam’ and closed the call.

Someone said they were from a company about doors and windows, but the moment I mentioned I wasn't after anything they disconnected. Felt a bit off.

Have had numerous calls from this and similar 01138 numbers, saying that they're my local energy advisor. Also calling about insulation on other occasions from similar 01138 numbers. I block the numbers. But they only call again using a different number. They're a scam and a nuisance. Don't give out ANY personal or financial details.
