phishing scam claiming to be for car finance refunding & FCA related activities, sends messages about made up claims and instructs one to submit a "STOP" message to opt-out - this is not real, replying STOP only informs the scammers that your number is live and thus they can sell your details to another scammer or use it for another dodgy service. They also provide a link that does not host malicious code *however* it is a dead-link - i.e. the URL is valid & owned by someone, but the page is empty and doesn't load anything. They claim to be a company called "Doorstep Refunds Ltd" which Companies House lists as a dormant company (i.e. it's registered as a company but crucially it does NOTHING). Clearly a scam number. Called the number from a burner phone and it automatically redirected to a different number with the telltale tone indicating a redirection service is in place. Dangerous & harmful number. Block & report immediately.
