Said they were calling from the health department, asking if I had any complaints. I hung up. Definitely a scam of some sorts

Same as above comments. Knew my name and asked about accessing GP services. The scam seems to be related to Medical Healthcare provision. I refused to confirm provider and cost.

Knew my name and said they were from the British Medical Association. I couldn't fully understand what they were saying but I was asked these questions:- Have I had a flu jab - yes Do I have any complaints with the NHS - No Do I have health insurance - yes What is your provider name - not telling you. I told them I am not talking about this over the phone and they said they don't need my policy number, just a name of the provider and who did the jab. I told them I don't know as the jab was through work and not telling them the provider name. He said ok thanks, then hung up.

British medical association apparently yet couldn’t speak a word of English fluently. Scam

She knew my name, introduced herself as working for Global UK Health, I asked her to repeat, she added NHS, asked whether I had any complaint against NHS and added because you have life insurance in the UK. When I said No, I don't, she asked : you don't have life insurance in the UK? Again I said No, I don't. Then, ok, thank you, bye...! Definitely a scam!
