I was called to say some Bitcoin money was owed to me. When I laughed and said I had never touched Bitcoin, he said I was mistaken as how would he know my phone number, name and email address?. I told him he would be prosecuted if he rang my number again or used my email address. He still insisted it was all above board. I could hear a lot of background voices so I am guessing this is a scam with many operators. I am concerned he did know all of the personal details about me, which is unsettling. The trouble is there are so many companies who will not deliver or carry out a contract online without these details. I am guessing my details have been bought from one such company. Be aware and stay safe.

They insisted I owned some digital currency account but truth is Ive never gone near that world at all. Kept up the story pretty smoothly though which made me play along for a while just to hear their nonsense and waste their effort on me.
