The call began like this: “Hello, how are you doing today? Are you okay? This is Danny from the housing repair team, calling about housing issues you’ve reported. Are you experiencing any problems such as damp, mould, cracks, or water leaks?” I had never reported any issues to anyone, so it was clearly a lie. I didn’t respond—there was no point. After asking “Is anyone there?” a few times, he ended the call.

Either a really bored or pressured phishing caller or pre-recorded call. Phone rang to VM, they continued as follows with obviously no response. There was a long pause between the responses as if to simulate an actual phone call but of course completely scripted. Hello, how are you doing today? You okay. Danny speaking from housing (dis?) repair team regarding your housing problems, which you have reported Do you have any housing problem like damp mould cracks or water leakage?
