I received a text message claiming to be from Coinbase and saying that they detected a New login request from a different city than mine and if it wasn't me, to call them on this number.
I don't have an account with this Coinbase company, so 🤷

This call claimed to be from a well known digital bank and even displayed the bank name on the screen, which made it look convincing at first. The caller tried to gain trust by speaking as if they already had account details. I am not a customer of this bank at all. It felt deliberately misleading and designed to trick people who might not question it straight away, especially older users who rely on caller display.
