I answered and heard the familiar click and delay common with overseas call centres. The call did not sound genuine.

Well spoken man fishing for details, saying they have loft insulation for people of a certain age. I asked if Vodafone gave him our number and he said yes. So now we know where these calls are coming from, or who is leaking our private number that only Vodafone have.
