The caller started by mentioning something about reviewing my utility usage rates and potential savings but then abruptly fell silent as if the script ran out or they got cold feet which is highly irregular for any legit service provider whod have a smooth trained operator ready to guide the conversation towards closing a deal or at least gathering basic info instead this felt like a botched attempt at phishing where they test the waters before diving in deeper so I didnt hesitate to hang up and add the contact to my extensive block list alongside dozens of similar incidents over the past months that all share this evasive pattern.
