Claim to be calling from M&S. When questioned further say they are a consumer survey organisation. They were very persistent about me confirming by name and address. I refused to confirm and when I said "You are nothing to do with M&S, they put the phone down. I am sure we wouldn't get these nuisance and potentially dangerous calls if our large corporations hadn't decided it was OK to use overseas call centres.
