Claimed to be from British Gas. Wouldn't give me a number to ring back on. When I told them I thought it was a scam, they said I was stupid, and asked for my daughters telephone number.

Claimed they were from Octopus ENergy (who is our supplier) and said it was very urgent they get th einformaiton. They were asking about meter details etc. When I queried if they really were Octopus Energy she said yes otherwise they wouldn't have our MPN number. I wasn't happy so said I'd call Octopus directly myself to check - she tried very hard to convince me not to do this saying it was urgent and can she call me back, I hung up and called Octopus who confirmed it was a scam.

Claimed to be calling from E-On chasing payment of a gas bill. We aren't with E-On. Very persistent.

First call at 7am second at ten am third at midday .they just hang up when I answer .this is a daily thing .how can they be stopped.
