Rang twice. On second attempt I answered before he rang off. I could barely understand him due to his accent. He asked several times if I was a pensioner, but when I said "I don't disclose that sort of information to unsolicited callers" he just said "I am only trying to help you" and then he rang off.

Someone who is willing to read a letter from the government about an amount I (a pensioner)am about to receive from the government. Heavy accent, hard to understand. I said that I can read an will wait for the letter.

Caller claimed to be from a pension claims department and was quite pushy. Had a strong foreign accent, making it hard to follow. He kept asking if I was a pensioner and wanted to know my age. I refused to answer and he quickly hung up. Feels like a scam.
