Used extremely expletive language to my elderly mum. Swearing and saying what he would do to my mum. She has been left very shaken.

Called pretending to be from SEFE Energy saying there was a problem with my meter which had generated an incorrect bill, wanted me to confirm MPAN number, supply address etc. Politely told him twice that I do not divulge information on an unsolicited phone call, at which point he hung up. Clearly not from SEFE Energy then!

Same “Energy Department” nonsense. They always start by asking about your bill or smart meter, then push for personal info. Stay alert.
