Called Twice, I told them I have googled the number and it has been reported as a scam both times. Continued to call back the second time.

Claiming to be from Scottish Power and wanting our Meter ID number, which any provider would have. I imagine it's then used to appear genuine at the point the contracts are due for renewal, etc.

Called again this morning after calling yesterday, saying we had an outstanding gas invoice.

Saying they are calling from British gas.

Had a call from this number saying they were from British Gas and there was a problem with a meter reading being confused with another account. They had our meter numbers and address but when I asked for proof he was from BG he hung up. I contacted BG and they confirmed is was not them. Number will be blocked

Car finance team said i qualify for payout on past agreement. Asked for app passcode to confirm identity. Fishy deal.

Got a call saying they handle home repairs funded by the council. Asked for my address and payment method right off the bat. Felt super suspicious so I just blocked em.
