I downloaded a scam blocking app where callers have to state who they are and the reason for their call, scammers like this don’t come through to me anymore

Number came up as a missed call but it did not even ring on my mobile so I assume they dial and quickly hang up. I’ve the same missed call but didn’t ring before off other numbers that turned out to be scams
