After a long pause, then background 'call centre chatter', there was a well-spoken Indian male who claimed to be from sky maintenance. At 8:30 am!

He was an Indian male who said his name is Jerry and he is with sky maintenance and he is saying my tv equipment isn't working and my new TV needs renewal

The way the call commenced (silence followed by random noise then a voice claiming to be from Sky) made me suspicious so I ended the call.

Didn't sound legit, said was from sky maintenance. Went with my gut, hung up

Wanted renewal of their insurance policy for a Samsung TV, which we don't have, saying that this was the final day for renewal at £12 per month. He didn't have any details. I kept him talking and answering my simple questions until he eventually hung up. These people are scum and need to be stopped and their bosses imprisoned. Do not give there people any details or information.

Said they were from Sky maintenance to renew the cover that I have with them today. Told him he had a wrong number.
