Not sure if it was spam, but the person who called was offering a contract with Lebara (which is already my current provider, so it seemed genuine in the beginning) to get the new Samsung with some GB of mobile data for £15 a month. I said that I was happy to receive more information and asked if they could send me some info by email, or if I could find the info on their website. They said fine and asked some question like my full name, DOB and....they asked for my debit card details, and that's when I got suspicious. I reiterated that I wasn't accepting the deals, but that I just wanted to learn more at this stage. And he said it's fine, they just needed my debit card details for info only. I can't be sure but I believe it was scam, so I just hang up.
