Washing machine cover as above, did not know make or model of our machine and gave "her" company as "Home Appliance Cover Company". Laughed said thanks and hung up.

Went to Answer phone no message left, checked area code Bishop Auckland.

Called this morning. Knew my name (which I did not confirm), then proceeded to tell me that my washing machine warranty has run out... given my washing machine is about 15 years old, and never been under any sort of cover. I laughed, and said thanks for letting us know, Goodbye.
Definitely a scam.
