Very convincing call to say south staffs pipe and drainage policy was up for renewal and were offering a loyalty discount. They wanted bank details to set up new direct debit for lower price. Luckily my instinct kicked in and they eventually hung up when I said I wasn’t giving any details.

Skipped the ring checked the digits and found its a plumbing con.

Bogus renewal nudge for drain protection but i dont need it since the local authority handles those fixes.

I actually didn't answer as luckily Samsung identifies spam/marketing calls. The number is now blocked.

Happened today pretending to be southern water

Told they were from south east Water and that the policy was ending tomorrow. Also told they don't work the weekend.

Said they were from Steven trent British gas and insurance company have blocked number but still phoning but can not answer any questions when asked

Said they were Severn Trent water. Saying my water cover was just to be updated so wanted me to renew. Have not got water cover. After personal information. Do not trust. English women, well spoken.

Claimed to be from home care, British Gas about my plumbing cover renewal, to which I asked what home care cover I’ve never had it, was told date policy was taken out etc , hung up
